A custom song really comes from a custom writing experience. All of our artists have a different writing process that reflects in their songs. So whether you’re looking for a lyrically-driven song or one with an unforgettable beat, we can do that.

The structure of a Songfinch song
Our songs generally run 2:30-3:30 in length and include 2 verses and a repeated chorus. Typically, it’s structured like Verse 1, Chorus, Verse 2, Chorus, Chorus. You can always buy an extra verse though if you just can’t get enough.
The length of your song will vary depending on the genre! For example, the faster tempo of rap songs means your artist can fit more details in a shorter song. Some artists may add additional song elements (like a bridge, outro, longer verses, etc.) depending on the composition. Ahh, the freedom of creativity.
Let’s get down to lyrics
Each custom song is just that… custom! We never use lyric templates for any of our songs.
If you have specific lyrical requirements you'd like in your song please make note of it in your story submission in any of the available text boxes and your artist will do their best to incorporate your requests into the lyrics. For example, we don't require artists to utilize any rhyme schemes but it can totally be requested. Or, if you think profanity is integral to some details, we’re not against it, you’ve just got to make a note.
