The streaming add-on is lowkey our favorite one. It makes sharing and accessing your song so easy. For just $49.99, we’ll put it on Spotify for you, where you can add it to playlists, send it to friends, and most definitely get it in your Top 100 Spotify Wrapped playlist. Here’s everything you need to know.
How to find your song on Spotify
Make sure you’ve got an active account on Spotify to be able to access this option (it does have a free option!). It generally takes 10 business days to upload your song to the streaming service. Once we do, we'll send you an email with a direct link to listen, share, save, and add it to your playlists. To make sure you can easily find your song on Spotify, we recommend searching for your song title plus "Songfinch" on the platform.
Is my song public on Spotify?
Yes, all songs on streaming platforms are public! Rest assured that your song will be posted on Spotify as a public listing, but it's unlikely to be heard by anyone outside of those with whom you share the link.
We take great care to protect our customers' and artists' privacy by not listing any identifying information when distributing songs to Spotify. Your artist will be listed as "Songfinch," and the song title will remain true to your song. Sometimes the first name of the song's recipient will be added to the end of the title to avoid duplicates. (Example: "Love You Forever (Tim)").
With hundreds of songs live on streaming channels, the probability of someone browsing each song and identifying that it's yours would be very low and would require a significant amount of time and effort.
Can I change my album’s cover art?
Due to Spotify's cover art restrictions, we can only use Songfinch's approved cover art and cannot use unique photos for songs uploaded to Spotify.
Can I add my lyrics to Spotify?
At this time we aren't able to upload your custom song's lyrics to Spotify. But, they're always available to view on your song's dashboard!
