When you order an original song through Songfinch, our artists aim to make you a hit that you’ll love. Not a song you play for a reveal video and then remember you have once a year. But, a song you’ll want on your Spotify playlists, by an artist you’ll continue to follow long after your song is done.
We hand-picked, tested, and onboarded each artist in our community. Our application and training process ensures they understand what we expect to deliver with every song delivered. Since quality is of the utmost importance to us, your artist has to be able to write, produce, record, and mix their songs. Add in the cool factor that these are all up-and-comers, so who’s to say you’re not buying a song from the future Harry Styles? You never know!
#2. We pay our artists fairly
Truth be told, it’s almost impossible for independent artists to make a living off. For example, it takes 50,000+ streams on Spotify for an artist to earn the equivalent of one Songfinch song. 80% of the artists on Spotify have 50 monthly listeners, which earns them about $0.22. Not an easy way to make a living!
Breaking it down even further, when you get an original song from a Songfinch artist, you’re receiving a studio-quality product. Our artists don’t just switch out names and give everyone the same song, your song is created custom for you using the details you provide.
If you were to enter a recording session with the goal of creating one song, it could cost you as much as $20,000 to get the job done. Yikes! Pair that with our song revision options, and well, that sounds like a pretty good deal to us.
#3. We'll help you make the song you hear in your head
Quality is our top priority. In fact, less than 2% of all our delivered songs run into major errors, which means we’ve got a lot of happy customers. But, if you do receive your song and notice some needed revisions, we have the extra services and tools you need to ensure it’s a hit.
