Can I change my song from first to third person?
By default, all Songfinch songs are written as though they are coming from the gifter to the recipient. Your artist will craft a song for you that takes your personal details and stories and sings them back as if they're singing directly to who the song is for.
If you want it to be more general, you can also select to not mention the recipient in the order. This won't make it any less personal, it just won't use the recipient's name anywhere.
If you do want your song in third person perspective (ex: "Jack and Diane" by John Mellencamp), please let us know before you order. Changes to song perspective after a song is completed are offered on a case-by-case basis at an additional cost upon request.
