Tips for Submitting Your Lyrics
- Make it yours: Only submit lyrics you've written and own. We don't create parodies or cover songs.
- Keep it concise: Our artists typically work with a 2:30–3:30 minute structure, which generally includes two verses and a repeated chorus, like a song you'd hear on the radio. If your lyrics are a bit longer, we offer extra verses at checkout.
- Stay flexible: Sometimes, minor adjustments are needed to fit your lyrics into the standard song structure. Don't worry, though! Our artists will do their best to honor your original vision.
Ownership & Rights
- Artist Ownership: Songs created by our artists are 100% owned by the artist.
- Your Rights: You can enjoy your song, share it with friends and family, and use it personally. Learn more about song usage rights HERE.
How to Submit
- Paste your lyrics into the "What would you like your song to be about?" field in Step 3 of the Song Builder.
- Do not email lyrics. Submissions sent outside the purchase flow cannot be used.
- Once your artist accepts your commission, you can also collaborate with them directly on your song page.
