Why CD Text Might Display Incorrectly
Metadata Sources:
- Some CD players/computers pull song info from online databases (e.g., Gracenote)
- Since your CD isn’t a major release, players may mismatch it with random tracks that have similar elements

- The CD itself contains correct metadata (visible on most computers)
Fixing Incorrect Text

Check on a Computer:
Insert the CD → Open media players like iTunes or Windows Media Player
The correct title/artist (“Songfinch”) should display -
Manual Edit:
Use software like iTunes to manually update the metadata
If the CD is unplayable or metadata is missing
Email support@songfinch.com with:
- Your order number
- Photos/videos of the issue
When will my CD ship?
Great question! Once you finalize your song on your song page, your CD will ship within the next five business days. You'll receive an email with tracking information the moment it is on its way!
Troubleshooting Common Issues
"My CD never arrived in the mail"
- Check the tracking information that was emailed to you. You can also find this information in your dashboard. If the tracking hasn't updated in a week OR if it shows the CD was delivered at least a week ago, contact us with your order information and we'll investigate.
"The CD arrived damaged"
- Take a picture and email us!
"Can I get multiple songs on one CD?"
- Right now, we can only offer one song per CD. If you order a 2-pack, the same song will be on both CDs.
