You can begin building your Personalized Music Video as soon as your song is finalized from your song page. All instructions will be emailed to you at the time of song delivery or video purchase, depending on when the video was added to your order. Until your song is completed, including any revisions, you will not be able to create it.This is done to ensure the final song and pictures line up together perfectly.

Getting Started: Log in to Your Account
Log in to your Songfinch Dashboard and head to Order History. You'll see your original song and all merch purchased.
To start creating or editing your music video, click "Personalized Music Video."
Note: If this option is not available, your song is still in progress, in revision, not finalized yet, or you have not purchased the Personalized Music Video.
Builder and Preview Player
Your Personalized Music Video builder page is where you’ll upload, arrange, preview, and create your video.
The video player shows a real-time preview and plays your song. This is helpful if you want certain photos to display at certain times in your song.
As noted, the preview player may cause your photos to look cut off and/or zoomed in. This player is solely meant to be a helpful resource while building your music video. Once you receive the email saying your Personalized Music Video has finished finalizing, it will be displayed accurately on your song page.
Upload Photos
Click the “Upload photos” button to open the photo uploader. You can drag and drop photos into the photo uploader (if you’re on a computer) or click “Upload files” to select photos on the device you’re working on to open your camera roll or files.
This section also shows the exact number of photos needed to fill your video. Each photo is displayed for six seconds, so the length of your song will determine how many photos you can upload.
Rearrange Photos
Photo Timing: Each photo plays for six seconds and you’ll see a time range above each photo indicating where that photo will show within the video. This is a good way to line up photos with certain lyrics of your song.
Drag, Swap, & Rearrange: You can swap photos with each other in the timeline for easy arrangement.
Progress Bar: This tool shows you how many photos you have uploaded and how many you have left.
Finalize
Once all your photos are uploaded and in your preferred order, click “Finalize slideshow” under the preview video player.
When you click this button, our system creates your final hi-resolution video, adds smooth transitions between frames, syncs your song, and transfers it to your song page. This process takes 30-60 minutes and you’ll get an email as soon as it’s finished.
Each Personalized Music Video comes with three renders so you can edit and rebuild it once or twice after you see the first version completed. No worries if you need more - shoot us a message here and we'll be happy to assist!
Personalized Music Video Delivery
Within an hour, you’ll get an email from us letting you know that your music video is completed and ready to view. To watch it, visit your song page and click the play button.
Making Edits
If you decide you want to make changes to your music video after it's been finalized, we've got you. Simply return to your dashboard to access the builder. Once you've made your desired changes, you'll need to Finalize again for the changes to take effect. You'll receive another email once it is ready!
Downloading Your Music Video
We've made this step easier than ever! On your song page, click on the download icon and then "Download Slideshow." You'll then be able to locate the file in your downloads folder on your computer.
If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to enter an email address before seeing the download options.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
“I haven’t received my music video email”
- Check spam/junk/promotions folders
- Visit your song page directly — it may already be live
“My video won’t load/finalize"
- Use Chrome/Firefox on a desktop
- Ensure photos are under 10MB each (common timeout cause)
"I'm out of renders but need to make more edits"
