What Is the Lyric Collaboration Tool and Why Do I See Draft Lyrics?
If you see a lyric draft on your song page, that means your artist has shared an early version of your song's lyrics before recording. This tool gives you the opportunity to suggest lyrical changes or clarify details so your final song feels even more personal and polished!
You’ll have 48 hours to review the draft and leave feedback (if your delivery timeline allows). These suggestions won’t always be used word-for-word, but will help guide your artist as they finalize your track. The next time you see the lyrics, they’ll be part of your completed song!
Not all orders include this step! Orders including a rush fee skip it so we can meet your delivery date. Once your song is available, it’s your chance to collaborate early in the process and help your song hit even harder.
Why we share it:
To give you a voice in the process before your song is recorded
To make sure names, events, and emotional tone all land the way you want
To reduce the need for major edits after delivery
What to expect:
You’ll see your draft on your Song Page
You’ll have 48 hours to suggest changes using the “Provide Feedback” button
Your artist will review your notes and update the lyrics before recording
This is not your final song. The lyrics may change slightly as your artist shapes them into a version that flows naturally and sings beautifully. The next time you see them, they’ll be part of your fully recorded, finished track.
⚠️ One More Time: Not all orders include a lyric draft. If your song is a rush order or very close to the delivery date, your artist may need to move straight into recording to meet your timeline
