Before You Order
Start by browsing our artist community HERE. Filter by genre and style, listen to sample tracks, and find the artist whose sound feels right for your song. When you're ready, continue within the Song Builder to place your order. Share as much detail as you can in the detail and information portion. Specific stories, memories, names, inside jokes, tone, and/ or any lyrical preferences. The more your artist knows, the better your song will be.
During Song Creation
Once your artist accepts your commission, a direct messaging thread opens on your song page. This is a real back-and-forth collaboration where you can share additional details, ask questions, and stay connected throughout the process.
For standard 7-day orders, your artist will share a lyric draft before recording. You'll have 24 hours to review the draft and either approve it or submit feedback. Your artist will take your notes into account as they finalize and record the song. Rush orders of 3 days or fewer go straight to recording to meet your delivery window.
After Delivery
Once your song is delivered, you'll have 48 hours to use the Song Review tool on your song page to submit any lyric edits or feedback directly to your artist. If that window closes and you still need help, reach out to support@songfinch.com and we'll work with you on next steps.
After your song is published, your messaging thread reopens, and you can continue leaving comments, showing appreciation, or just saying thank you.
