Before You Order
Pick your artist carefully. Artists work in styles that match their sample tracks. If you want classic country, don’t pick a pop artist.
Choose your genre, vocal style, and vibe(s)
- Heartfelt: sincere emotions and stories

- Romantic: slow, intimate lyrics
- Reflective: nostalgic memories
- Uplifting: encouraging and inspiring
- Somber: serious, emotional tone
- Happy: bright and positive
- Lighthearted: whimsical and fun
- Available genres include Country, Singer-Songwriter, Pop, Folk, Rock, R&B, Rap/Hip-Hop, Latin, and Christian

Tell Your Story Effectively
Focus on meaningful details, not lists. Without context, a list of random places, dates, and other things can be easily misinterpreted.
If you only say, “Pepperoni, Pineapple, and Sausage," that could be your go-to pizza order or the names of your three cats. Context is key!
Go deep, not wide. Pick a few vivid scenes or memories and let them shine. Use sensory language and give your artist a peek into what your memories feel like.
“I remember the crackling sound of the fire while sleeping under the stars” hits differently than “We went camping.”
Make sure it makes sense. After you finish a response, re-read it from the perspective of a stranger. Be sure to include enough context so your artist understands what you’ve shared. Include pronunciation guides for tricky names or places.
Have your own lyrics? Awesome!
Make sure you include them in your submission. If you have a melody in mind, describe it for your artist! Help them help you bring life to your words.

Submitting & Post-Submission
- Double-check everything!! Ensure details are complete to avoid delays
- We cannot change your artist, tempo, mood, or delivery date after you order
Once your artist accepts your commission, you'll be able to leave comments on your song page that they will see. If you have any details you want to add or correct, post them here. We can't guarantee your artist will work them in, but they'll try!
You'll get a chance to review a first draft of the lyrics before your artist records the song. These are suggestions, not the final version, and your artist will shape them to sing naturally and feel amazing in the finished track. You can trust them - they're pros!
Once your song is delivered, you’ll be able to request edits directly on your song page. You can suggest up to five lines of lyrical changes, along with unlimited typo or mispronunciation fixes—just let us know what you’d like updated right there. If you need more than five lines adjusted, you can purchase additional edits for $10 each.
If you run into issues not addressed here or have any other questions, please reach out to our Customer Experience team here. We are available from 9am-5pm central time seven days a week. We'll be sure to get to your message as quickly as possible!
